The informal meetup for Web 2.0 and Games at AGDC turned out a lot more popular than I’d expected. Looks like we need to make this an official thing next time:

Over the course of a few hours, we had somewhere between 15 and 30 people turn up, and eventually got so full we took over the whole veranda to the point of blocking the through-traffic.

And that was without any free food or drink - just a varied bunch of fascinating and genuine people to talk to.

Although, ironically, I personally don’t remember talking to anyone about Web 2.0 itself - but that has more to do with general exhaustion from being up all night then giving a talk first thing that morning. But most people seemed to have a good time…
