IMHO this is one of those watersheds: for the people who still believe “I could tell” if video is fake … no, you can’t. Done properly, you really can’t.

The eyes are _very_ good. Lip and nostril edge rendering is too sharp / contrasty. The expressions are wrong – while this looks a lot like a human, I’d consider I’m talking to a psychopath if I met someone who lacked micro-expressions in the way of these.

The eyelids behave extremely weirdly a few times, and the lips are like rubber. Lips really need some ‘stickiness’ to be more realistic. Apart from that, the texturing is really great.

The picture, frankly, looks perfect to me. I wonder what are the main hurdles in creating human like artificial voice to go with artificial face?
